[BREAKING] Jay Chou NFTs Stolen? – Here’s What We Know So Far
On April 1st Noon (Asia time), Asian music artist superstar Jay Chou posted on his Instagram that his Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT was stolen. He also mentioned in the post description that is was not an April Fool’s joke.
Twitter user @zachxbt shared that other NFTs were also stolen, including a Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT and Doodles NFTs. The user also shared the scammer’s Ethereum address on Etherscan. The address has received multiple flags as a phishing address on Etherscan.
The estimated losts of the phishing scam is over $550,000 (169 ETH). This is a developing story. We will update this page when we know more.

BAYC Discord Got Hacked?
There are reports that the BAYC official discord server got hacked today. When a Discord server gets compromised, anyone can impersonate the founders and post malicious links, links which may cause your NFTs to get stolen.
What Is An NFT Phishing Scam?
An NFT Phishing scam is when someone tries to impersonate a website or entity and asks for a user’s private wallet key or security seed phrase. Once they have your private keys, they will be able to access the contents of your wallet and steal all the crypto or NFTs store in it.
Sometimes, by interacting with a Web3 contract via a website, you may also lose your assets. The smart contract may contain code which when signed, allows permission to the contract to steal all your assets such as cryptocurrencies of NFTs.
