What Is The World Of Women NFT?
At its core, the World of Women is a community celebrating representation, inclusivity & equal opportunities for all. Starting off with a 10k PFP collection, the team has since expanded with the World of Women Galaxy NFT collection. This is a larger collection of 22,222 NFTs, inviting more people into the community with a lower entry price.
Prior to the project release in July 2021, female artists only accounted for 5% of all NFT art sales. Therefore, 4 friends came together with these goals in mind. They aim to increase general diversity in the space, educate and onboard the next generation of creators, and create equal opportunities for all.

Who Is Behind The World Of Women NFT Team?
The artist and co-founder, Yam Karkai, focuses on bringing women into the spotlight. We can see her iconic style in the NFT collections, often combining vivid, harmonious colours with playful, delicate lines and a touch of fantasy. The inspiration since the very beginning was to highlight and empower women by making them the centre of her pieces.
She currently leads a small team of talented individuals, each bringing a unique and essential component to the WoW force.

What Is The World Of Women NFT Utility?
First of all, WoW NFT holders will gain full ownership and IP of their NFTs, including the 4k x 4k file. They will also receive original ArtDrops from select NFT artists every month. Occasionally, there will be pre-sales and mint passes for high potential NFT collections. On top of that, holders get exclusive raffles, discounts, access to the annual gala and other events.
Apart from the utilities above, being a WoW holder also means being part of the WoWsphere journey. This initiative allocates a sizable fund to support women and girls, a portion for emergency events, and another for tackling climate change.
For instance, 2.5% of all primary sales have been allocated to She’s the First, an organisation which funds and supports local solutions to educate and empower girls across 26 nations. Another 2.5% have been allocated to the Rockflower Fund, which funds female social entrepreneurs and community leaders around the globe. These are just two of the many causes that the WoW family is currently supporting.
The WoW Roadmap: Of Community And Collaborations
Throughout the past year, the team has surpassed their own expectations. They partnered with Hello Sunshine for feature films and TV series, they organised the first Worldwide NFT exhibition, and even made an appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Besides that, their DAO (DAWoW) was launched, their new website looks absolutely stunning, and the WoW gala is set to happen this summer!
On the other hand, the WoW team is very active in collaborative work throughout the NFT space. For example, they recently partnered with Yuga Labs in their Otherside metaverse project. Moving forward, they are also partnering with The Sandbox in a $25 million deal to drive female inclusivity through education and mentorship.

Celebrities In The World Of Women Community
The World of Women community boasts one of the largest number of celebrities in a single NFT project. In addition to owning them, celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Longoria, Shonda Rhimes and many others have publicly expressed their appreciation for the project.
Most recently, fans had the opportunity to party with Madonna at the WoW Finally Enough Love party in NFT.NYC. The event was featured on the Nasdaq billboard in New York City, and there was also a popup store selling exclusive Madonna merch to NFT holders.
