What Is Azuki Elementals?

Azuki “Elementals” is a new and exciting addition to the NFT (non-fungible token) landscape. Unveiled at the “Follow the Rabbit” event, a night dedicated to celebration and anticipation, “Elementals” represents an extension of the original 10,000 Azuki NFTs. The collection comprises 20,000 tokens, each falling into one of four domains: Lightning, Earth, Water, and Fire. In addition to the diverse domains, the tokens also span various rarity tiers.

During the “Follow the Rabbit” event, Azuki holders were privy to an exclusive preview, each receiving an airdrop of an undisclosed and locked Elemental token. This token would only be accessible after the June 27 “Elementals” sale. Further enhancing the experience for the community, all Azuki and Beanz holders were airdropped a unique Soulbound Token (SBT) known as an “Elemental Chip” as a keepsake of the event. The Elementals NFTs went up for sale on June 27, marking a significant milestone in Azuki’s journey in the NFT space.

Who Is The Team Behind Azuki Elementals?

Unlike BEANZ which was a derivative, the Azuki Elementals NFT project was created by the official Azuki team – Chiru Labs who have abundant experience in crypto, NFTs, gaming, and tech.

How To Mint Azuki Elementals?

The sale of Azuki Elementals started on Tuesday, June 27 at 9:00 am PT. Exclusive presale access was be provided to Azuki and Beanz token holders, starting at 9:00 am PT for Azuki holders and 9:10 am PT for Beanz holders. The public sale was slated to launch at 9:20 am PT.

The public sale will follow the Dutch auction model, commencing at a starting price of 2 ETH. The price will then reduce by 0.1 ETH every five minutes until all 10,000 Elementals have been purchased in the public auction.

To mint, participants are required to deposit 2 ETH beforehand, and any difference will be refunded if the minting is done at a price below 2 ETH. During the first and second presale phases, Azuki and BEANZ holders will have the ability to mint one Elemental for each Azuki or BEANZ they own, with no set limit. However, for the public sale, the limit will be set at three Elementals per wallet.

On mint day, the entire collection sold out in 15 minutes, generating $38 million worth of sales, thus the public mint didn’t happen.
